Play Music on the Porch Day

This year, on August 29, 2020, Cape Breton would like to see our Music Island participate in this global movement and share our local talents with the world.

A simple idea with profound results, Play Music on the Porch Day was founded in 2013, by Los Angeles based artist Brian Mallman. This event started a movement that connected 70 countries and over 700 cities by 2018  – http://www.playmusicontheporchday.com/

Participation is as easy as going outside and playing music – alone or with friends, on the porch or a favorite place – and sharing a video on social media with the hashtag #playmusicontheporchday (and also #IamCBMIC for our local community).
