Ned MacDonald Memorial Ball Field

Ned MacDonald Memorial Ball Field

Inverness has a lovely ball field which has been named in memory of the late Ned MacDonald, a long-serving municipal councillor in Inverness County the field gives residents a natural place in which to play, relax and build community life as baseball and softball have always been popular pastimes in Inverness for all ages.

The Ned MacDonald Memorial Ball Field includes dugouts, washrooms, change rooms, fencing and lighting.

The photo shows long time player and umpire Buddy Timmons being honored for all he has given to Inverness Ball throughout the years by throwing in the first pitch at a home opener.
