The Inverness Harbour Authority is responsible for managing, operating and maintaining The MacIsaac’s Pond Harbour, through a lease agreement with Small Craft Harbours. The Inverness Harbour Authority is essential to the social and economic life of our community. The Inverness Harbour Authority keeps our vital harbour facilities in good repair, provides essential services to harbour users, establishes and enforces rules and represents the needs of users at the community level. While helping to keep our harbour safe by overseeing the management and operation of the facility including maintaining lighting systems, launch ramps, fuelling stations and breakwaters. The Harbour Authority is also responsible for charging and collecting fees from users to cover costs of operating harbours. Fees collected from users are reinvested in harbour maintenance, operations and repairs.
